Reservation Terms

These terms explain what it means to reserve a Throng beta spot. The short version: no payment is collected today, saving a card is not a purchase, and you will be asked to confirm before any beta payment is requested.

1. What You Are Reserving

Submitting the beta reservation form tells Throng that you are interested in a future beta unit. It is not a completed purchase, order, shipment commitment, or guarantee that a product will be built or delivered.

Each reservation is intended for one person. Throng may limit duplicate, automated, or unreasonable reservations.

2. No Charge Today

You will not be charged when you submit the reservation form or complete Stripe card setup. Saving a card through Stripe setup mode is not a purchase.

Throng will not automatically charge your saved card for the beta unit. Before any $100 beta payment is requested, Throng will contact you with the final beta terms, final price, and estimated shipping window.

3. Beta Product Changes

Throng is an early-stage beta product. The beta hardware may differ from site images, ads, colors, form factor, materials, features, specifications, and examples shown on the website.

Descriptions and visuals are meant to explain the current product direction. They are not a promise that the final beta unit will match them exactly.

4. Confirming or Canceling Later

If beta units become ready to confirm, Throng will contact you using the information you provided. You can review the final terms and decide whether to continue.

You may decline, cancel your reservation, or choose not to make the $100 beta payment. Declining or canceling means you will not receive a beta unit through that reservation.

5. Fulfillment and Refunds

Throng may never build, finish, or ship the beta product. A reservation does not create a right to receive hardware.

If Throng later collects payment for a beta unit and cannot fulfill the paid beta order, Throng will provide the cancellation and refund handling described in the final paid-order terms and required by applicable law.

6. Your Information

You are responsible for providing accurate contact and shipping-region information. Throng uses that information to confirm interest, estimate availability, and contact you before any payment request.

If your information is incorrect or unreachable, Throng may be unable to continue your reservation.

7. Card Handling

Stripe handles secure card entry and card setup. Throng does not store your full card number.

The saved payment method may be used only after Throng contacts you and you separately confirm that you want to make the beta payment under the final terms.

8. Changes to These Terms

These reservation terms may change before any final paid order. If the terms change materially before a payment request, Throng will provide the updated terms before asking you to confirm payment.
